Cheesy Lean Turkey Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey, 97% lean
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 12 ounces Colby cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- ½ cup ketchup
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a bowl, combine very well the turkey, milk, bread crumbs, and eggs by hand. Add salt and pepper then cheese cubes into the mixture.
- Transfer to a loaf pan and form the turkey mixture into a smooth mounded loaf using the back of a spoon.

- Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (85 degrees C).
- Let meatloaf stand 5 minutes before serving.
